Review by hotel critic
During our recent stay at the Maison, my family and I enjoyed the warm atmosphere that welcomed us right from check-in. As a literary enthusiast, I appreciated the historical charm, but the real highlight was the family-friendly amenities. Our son loved the cycling routes nearby; we spent hours pedalling through the beautiful countryside, soaking in the lush views. On one sunny afternoon, we took a break from our cycling adventures and tried our hand at fishing in the hotel’s serene pond. It was a good way to bond as a family. This hotel understands what families need—a relaxed environment with activities that cater to all ages. Being in Oxford, we found it was also an excellent base for exploring local literary landmarks. If you’re searching for a welcoming spot where both kids and adults can make cherished memories, the Maison certainly fits the bill.
